Every night at 2:15 AM Central, Amazon gives away a free paid app through its Amazon app store. I let you know if today’s app is useful or more clutter in your app drawer that just plain isn’t worth downloading.
It’s Angry Birds, and it’s Ad-Free. You’ve all played it. Slingshotting birds to destroy evil piggies who have stolen your eggs is the object. What could be more fun?
This free app doesn’t need much explaining. Angry Birds is a cultural phenomenon, and if you don’t already own an ad-free version, this is the way to go. No ads is more time to enjoy the game itself, and nothing’s better than killing piggies without seeing ads about the latest shampoo from Pantene?
If you don’t have an ad-free version of Angry Birds already, download it. The game is always fun and rewarding, if a bit challenging at the upper levels. If you’ve never played Angry Birds before (something incomprehensible to me), download this now and start playing ASAP.
