Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Bubble Birds by divmob and usually runs for $.99. It’s a puzzle game where you fire wingless birds out of a slingshot. Now I know what you’re thinking, how could they get away with such a blatant ripoff of Angry Birds? Mostly because it’s more of a blatant ripoff of Puzzle Bobble, just with birds instead of slingshots. Is it good? Eh. Not really. Still better than the last Puzzle Bobble ripoff game Amazon put up for free, BubbleMech. At least this game has you playing fake Puzzle Bobble in the right direction.
