SnApp Judgments: Folder Organizer

Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?

Folder OrganizerToday’s free app is FolderOrganizer by Fabio Collini, which ordinarily runs $1.49. It allows you to customize the file structure of your phone, as well as create custom widgets and shortcuts for applications, contacts, bookmarks, etc. Or at least, I think it does. I’m a little afraid to delve into this one without having the time to actually devote myself to it a little more. I don’t usually like to look at the reviews on Amazon for an app before I do my write up, but I had to on this one, because I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it. Sure enough, almost every review says the app is complicated at first, but worth learning how to use.

It’s odd feeling overwhelmed by a quick write-up on a free app, but I have a feeling this may be one of the better apps Amazon has released for free. I just can’t tell you for sure, because I haven’t figured out how to use it yet. Give it a shot yourself — maybe you’re smarter than I am.
