SnApp Judgments: Safari! HD and Safari!

Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
There are actually two free apps today, although they are basically the same thing: Safari! HD and Safari! by grasslandgames, both of which ordinarily run for $1.29. The only difference is Safari! HD is supposedly made for larger screens, although it ran fine on my OG DROID. It’s a puzzle game where you are connecting three of a kind or more of tiles, but instead of sliding or rotating gems, you are just drawing a path through animals. The game isn’t bad, although it is kind of easy. At least, it was still ridiculously easy when I stopped playing it to write this review. Definitely a good starter puzzle game for kids, with enough to it to keep adults momentarily busy.
