Tommy Wiseau’s New Web Series Is Tearing Me Apart!

The show is exactly as exciting as this image suggests.

There are times when I despair at mankind’s ability to inflict pain on itself. This is one of those times.

Actor/director/weirdo-with-a-following Tommy Wiseau stars in the new web series The Tommy Wi-Show (get it?) from Machinima, in what can only be described as a horrible mess produced solely on the cynical knowledge that regardless of how utterly unwatchable the show is, people will talk about it because Tommy Wiseau is involved.

You win this time, Machinima. You win this time.

Basically, the show is a gamer rip-off of Rifftrax (à la Mystery Science Theater 3000) with less imagination, no script, and a complete lack of humor. They sit Wiseau down in front of a 32-inch television and film him trying to figure out a video game. That’s it. That’s the show.

I could say more about the The Tommy Wi-Show, but as that one guy in Wiseau’s masterwork The Room said,

So in other words this is not unintentional comic-gold like THE ROOM?

    I am a sad Adam. :(
