We here at Techcitement Towers love Minecraft. If we ever want to destroy a weekend, we set out to build a geodesic dome out of multicolored wool. We dig trenches that spell out our sweetheart’s name or dynamite holes to the center of the planet.

What is this Minecraft of which you speak? It sounds very silly.

Quick recap: Created by bearded Swede, Markus “Notch” Paersson, released via Mojang. The game is written in Java, featuring blocky Lego-like graphics that you can interact with. You can do anything, nothing, or everything. Minecraft is available on PC, Android, iOS, and Xbox. The addictive game has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. I do not believe you do not know about this.

Fun fact: The worlds in Minecraft that you visit are procedurally created based on your computer’s system clock when you start them.

Fun fact: There is a Minecraft Lego set that’s  not just a bag with random pieces thrown in.

Fun fact: A total of 86 percent of all Minecraft videos feature Dubstep.

Follow the coyote to the pyramid. What do you mean, there’s no coyote?

Am I awful? Then, I am awful. Behold the animal cannon!

I’m sorry, Dave.

And as we came in on TV show credits, we shall end on them. Here’s an insanely-detailed roller coaster based on Beetlejuice. Maybe it’s the cartoon series Beetlejuice. Either way, the Minecraft ride is inspired by Beet–well, you get the idea.
