BlackBerry And T-Mobile Break Up

Sopurce:Phonearena

It turns out that BlackBerry and T-Mobile’s little public spat back in February has had real repercussions for both parties. BlackBerry has announced that effective April 25, 2014 the Magenta Network will no longer have the right to sell BlackBerry devices. While this won’t impact current device users on the network, it’s sure to impact both companies’ bottom line. BlackBerry is hardly raking it in and T-Mobile’s not doing much better. T-Mobile is trying to reassure existing BlackBerry users with a $100 trade-in credit for any handset, including the Z10 and Q10. Well, until the twenty-sixth of this month, that is. This is actually a $150 reduction from the offer T-Mobile gave that kicked all this off.

These two tech companies obviously feel stronger apart than together. Both parties will continue driving toward that feeling too as they’lll do anything to be perceived as strong right now.
