On The Cheap: Almost All T-Mobile Phones With No Up Front Cost

T-Mobile really, really wants your business. First came the contract-free plans, then the ability to pay for your phones over time, and recently the new JUMP service for early upgrading. Now, the carrier has announced a back-to-school sale. For a limited time, all handsets (minus the 32 and 64 GB iPhone 5 models) will have no money down. You pay over time, as the below chart shows, but the upfront costs are, well, nonexistent.

Pricing

If you’re unfamiliar with the above handsets, let us break it down. There’s the current flagship phone from the industry leader, a 6″ mini tablet, one of the most popular phones ever, a powerful stylish handset, a phone that never goes on sale, two rather decent Windows Phone devices, the comeback kid for BlackBerry, an underrated quad-core phone, and a 10″ tablet. In some cases, you pay a little more, like $480 for the tab instead of $449. Except that assumes you keep it. Tying this into JUMP means you could theoretically pay as you go for one handset, and then move on to the next.

You must decide for yourself if this is a good value for you it, but it’s certainly worth breaking out the calculator.
