Every night at 3:15 AM Eastern, Amazon gives away a free paid app through its Amazon app store. I let you know if today’s app is useful or more clutter in your app drawer that just plain isn’t worth downloading.
Today’s free app of the day is Battleship Pro, which is exactly what it sounds like. Battleship. On your smartphone. Which, to be fair, is fun. You get cool features like hexagonal fields that allow you to rotate your ships in any direction, multiple amounts of ships per round, and three different computer opponents.
Battleship Pro is exciting to play because it reminds me of my childhood playing Battleship with my friends. It’s a simple strategic game, combating your wits and guessing power over someone else’s (or in this case, the computer’s).
Battleship Pro is a good app to grab for free, if only to reminisce about times past and play a classic game just one more time.
