Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s app is Days Left Widget Pro by leihwelt.com, which usually runs for $.90. It’s a calendar widget that does not actually let you access your calendar. Handy I guess if you don’t have a widget that scrapes dates from your calendar, but otherwise, kind of useless. This feels kind of like the baby version of Business Calendar, which was offered for free some time back.
Quick note: if you are going to use it, it is a widget, not a program. It is not going to work by accessing it through your app drawer, other than to tell you how to actually make it work. Also, if it is on your SD card, it does not work at all, because it is a widget.
