Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Lights Off – The Original Game by High Caffeine Content, which usually goes for $.99. It’s a puzzle game — touch a tile, and it either turns on or off all the tiles around it, with the object being to turn all the tiles off. It does what it does fairly well, with no wacky bells or whistles getting in the way. I’d probably like it better, if my pattern recognition skills were better at picking up how to play.
I think I’m just going to play some more Temple Run instead.
