Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Spawn 3D by Elements of Design LLC and usually runs for $.99. Wow, Spawn, I haven’t read that in ages. Is MacFarlane still doing that? What? Nothing to do with that? OK.
I’m not exactly sure what Spawn 3D has to do with anything, really. Were you missing mid-90s screensavers on your Android device? Then Spawn 3D is the app for you! Squiggles! And they follow your finger when you drag it! And if you have glasses, they’re in 3D! Except there’s not really any background to give it much depth, so it’s not much of an effect.
Mostly, I’m amazed at the gall to sell this ordinarily for $.99.
