Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Whiteboard Pro by Gross Software and usually runs for $.99. It’s a white background you can draw on with four colors. And that’s basically it. It’s basically the same as a bunch of drawing apps that have been put out for the free app of the day, just with more of a grown up pants feel to it.
Truth is, this could be incredibly useful on a tablet. On a phone, it comes up a little short. Literally. As in running out of space. But I could see myself using this on a tablet in a meeting. It may not be a very exciting app, but it could very well be worth the free download.
