Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is xScope Browser for Web and File by x-Labs LLC, which usually runs $.99. I’ll be damned, it’s been a while since I’ve tried out xScope. It’s a replacement browser, which means a real review is waaayyyy too complicated for me to do in this space, but seriously, it’s the paid version of a popular browser for free. This is the perfect time to see if xScope is right for you.
Now that said, there seems to be a bit of a controversy, as this is a somewhat old build. Amazon does have a tendency to be a bit behind the curve compared to the regular market when it comes to pushing out the latest updates. But hey, free. Either way, this is one of the more interesting free apps to hit Amazon in a while.
