SXSW Interactive is almost upon us and if you’re planning to wade your way through this massive event full of digital wonders, Techcitement wants to be there to hold your virtual hand. In the spirit of the week and a half long festival (including Interactive, Film, and Music) of emerging properties and trending topics is SXSW Create 2013. Sponsored by Autodesk, this second annual event is open to everyone, whether you have a sought after SXSW badge or not, who wants to share how he or she best hacks, tinkers, tweaks, breaks, invents, or reinvents technology of any kind.
You might recognize Autodesk as the makers of design, engineering, and entertainment software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max Entertainment Creation Suite, and Fluid FX. You might also recognize that multiple Oscar award winners for special effects have used software created by Autodesk. Techcitement will be wandering around the event floor of SXSW Create, so we’re looking forward seeing what cool things we may end up reporting on as mega-releases at SXSW Interactive 2014.
