It’s one of those concepts that’s so simple, you wonder why Apple and Android didn’t already do it! On the “work” side, I.T. simply lists the applications considered “business use approved” in the BES server, and the connected phones automatically place those programs on the business side of the phone. Then, everything else, a user is free to download and install but it goes on the “personal” side. Everything is fully functional either way, but “firewalled” off so for example, Facebook installed as a personal app won’t let you paste content into it that was copied from something running on the business side.

That, IMO, is genius …. A simple solution for a complex business problem that will save a lot of I.T. people from carrying around two phones!
