T-Mobile really, really wants to be your cellphone carrier. First, there was the announcement of the new UnCarrier pricing, where high-end phones like the iPhone 5, Blackberry Z10, Samsung Galaxy S 4, and HTC One are $99 up front with monthly payouts.
The iPhone 5 launches on T-Mobile on April 12, 2013 and the deal has just been sweetened. From Friday to June 16 (Father’s Day, in case my kids are reading this), T-Mobile will take your old iPhone 4 or 4S and knock that initial $99 off the cost of an iPhone 5. There also may be a service credit of up to $120.
T-Mobile’s UnCarrier pricing is already impressive, but this makes it even more so. Yes, you could get the same amount or more selling your existing iPhone in eBay or Craigslist. However, with this deal, you get immediate satisfaction.
