If that’s true, that’s kind of a deal-breaker for me, since I like using my Mac for music-related things. I mean, I guess if you’re building a Mac Pro tower equivalent and doing anything remotely “pro audio” in nature, you’d rather use an external Firewire audio/recording device … but I’d still like to see an otherwise nice motherboard like this have support for the on-board audio.
