King-sized LG Vu Coming To U.S., Seeks To Dethrone Galaxy Note

Don't you want me, baby?

We’re big fans of the super-sized Galaxy Note here at Techcitement. While not the first device to blur the line between tablet and phone, Samsung was the first company to not stink at it. (We’re looking at you, Dell.)

LG recently introduced its own 5″ tablet, the Optimus Vu. However, this 5″-fronting, LTE-Living, stylus-sporting handset was only available in Korea. Seems like that’s about to change. DroidLife found a listing for an upcoming Verizon handset, the Intuition, that sports a 5″ screen.

…and now I’ve got that damned Jewel song stuck in my head.

While no stylus is mentioned, this sure seems like the Optimus Vu come stateside. Hopefully, the tablet will bring Android 4 with it as the Vu in Korea runs Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread), an unforgivable offense at this stage of the game. Verizon had allegedly previously passed on carrying the Galaxy Note, but will they regret doing so for a device with one foot in the tech past?
