It’s the only way to charge the tablet QUICKLY. Some people have complained because the dock requires portrait orientation and quite a few android apps are set up for landscape only, and movies take better advantage of the screen in landscape position. I get around this by simply folding up whatever bandana or other bit of fabric, turning the entire rig on it’s side, and using that to support the tablet so it isn’t stressing the connector with the angle. I need to get a plain mousepad and cut the thing up to make a permanent fix.

As someone who came into Android more or less at the same time as the tablet, I kinda like the physical buttons. My phone also has them, but my husband’s newer phone doesn’t. I absolutely LOVE the screen lock button being physical. I have a tendency to set it on my lap, and being NEARLY flat on an uneven surface that obviously moves can throw it back and forth between axis orientation.

My main point of frustration has been the on-screen keyboard. It’s ALMOST the Qwerty one, but because they changed the last key of the home row, I get messed up really fast. I don’t know if it’s a patent issue with Apple or something, but I think that’s an Android thing as opposed to Lenovo-specific. Touch-typing on the iPad seems much easier.
