Actually, it might help if you don’t know what you’re doing. A lot of the music generated by NodeBeat is pretty random. It’s less that you are creating music, so much as setting up a couple of parameters and letting the program do its thing. I don’t know how often I’d bother with the record function, but it’s definitely awesome that the option exists.
