What can I say, when you are six and a <em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0fan, being imprisoned and kept as a keepsake by intergalactic gangsters seems like an awesome idea. Now, you don&#8217;t have to go through the trouble of being <a href=\"https:\/\/techcitement.comentertainment\/techfiction-the-dangers-of-space-mining\/\" target=\"_blank\">set up by that traitor Lando<\/a>\u00a0to get the treatment &#8212; just visit Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios between May 18 and June 16 and you too can be loaded into Boba Fett&#8217;s cargo hold.<\/p>\n<p>Well, not quite. For $99 plus shipping, visitors of the\u00a0Carbon-Freeze Me experience can have a 3D scan of their face placed on an 8&#8243; replica of Han Solo&#8217;s carbonite prison, which will be shipped to them in about four weeks. This is all a part of Disney&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/disneyparks.disney.go.com\/blog\/2010\/11\/equip-your-technology-with-d-tech\/\" target=\"_blank\">D-Tech Me<\/a>\u00a0initiative, creating more customization of Disney merchandise. And to hold you over the month until you get your frozen doppelganger, you also get a light-up Imperial wristband.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/techcitement.comentertainment\/get-frozen-in-carbonite-like-han-solo-at-disneys-hollywood-studios\/attachment\/cfm330139small\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11196\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-11196\" src=\"https:\/\/techcitement.comadmin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/cfm330139SMALL.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"575\" height=\"346\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, there are a few flaws in the process. You can&#8217;t just show up and get your face scanned &#8212; reservations must be made by calling\u00a0407-WDW-TECH. Also, while the face is custom, the body is still going to be Han&#8217;s.
