Nest Labs co-founders Tony Fadell and Matt Rogers spent a collective 20 years at Apple working on the iPod and iPhone, with Fadell becoming known as &#8220;Father of the iPod.&#8221; So, selling the Nest thermostat alongside Apple products is a fantastic (if a bit on-the-nose) fit.<\/p>\n<p>Nest Labs has been working this month to make their thermostat much easier for potential users to find. Previously only available at Best Buy (a deal that has <a href=\"https:\/\/techcitement.comadmin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/best-buy-nest-not-available-screenshot-5-28-2012.jpg\">apparently ended<\/a>, possibly due to Honeywell&#8217;s <a title=\"Honeywell Makes A Beeline To Stir Up Nest\" href=\"https:\/\/techcitement.comhardware\/honeywell-makes-a-beeline-to-stir-up-nest\/\">patent infringement lawsuit<\/a> against both Nest and Best Buy) and online at Nest&#8217;s own store, Nest can now be found by Apple devotees at Apple Stores and, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nest.com\/2012\/05\/08\/nest-thermostat-now-at-lowes\/\">as of May 8<\/a>, by home improvement weekend warriors at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowes.com\/pd_399000-22742-T100577_4294725683__?productId=3694634&amp;Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&amp;pl=1&amp;currentURL=%2Fpl_The%2BNest%2BLearning%2BThermostat_4294725683__%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1&amp;facetInfo=\">many Lowe&#8217;s locations<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nest, the learning thermostat with a techie twist, will soon be available at Apple Stores across the country, according to a report from iLounge and confirmed by 9To5Mac.
