Considering that Google has revamped the way people connect with the creation of both Gmail and Google Voice, there’s one major area where the company has had a failure to communicate. Google has tried standalone messaging clients with Google Talk and Google Messenger. Then there are the chat add-ons to other services, like Hangout and talk for Google+, Chat for Drive, and Google Voice’s texting solution. While all of these tools let you talk to other people, they don’t talk to each other and that’s a real problem for end users.<\/p>\n
