Sadly, their second quarter earnings didn&#8217;t help things. Throw in the fact that their tablet marketshare is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eweek.com\/c\/a\/Desktops-and-Notebooks\/Microsofts-Windows-Has-Niche-Tablet-Presence-Report-526029\/\" target=\"_blank\">lower<\/a> than Windows 7, a non-tablet OS, and you&#8217;ve got more than warning signs, you&#8217;ve got a great big red alert.<\/p>\n<p>Now,\u00a0RIM is cutting 11 percent of their existing workforce, a drastic move. This is doubly so when you remember RIM is also hemorrhaging high level staffers even as it purges the lower ranks. Can the makers of the once-ubiquitous Blackberry device come back from the rear of the pack?
