Today’s free app is Refraction<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Textual Indices<\/a>, which ordinarily runs for $.99. The game is your standard laser game, where you use mirrors and prisms to get a laser beam to hit its target. I remember playing a similar game way back on my Apple II GS. I think it was called Lazer Maze<\/em>. This one is a few steps past Lazer Maze, <\/em>with options that weren’t available on the Apple II (and just to be all grumpy old man for a second, how freaky is it that my phone is more powerful than my old desktop), although I am pretty sure I have seen similar apps before. Still, it’s an enjoyable puzzle game worth playing for a bit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
