Today’s free app is Flick Kick Football<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Prodigy Design t\/a Sidhe<\/a>\u00a0which usually runs for $.99. Although when it says football, it means soccer. USA! USA! USA!<\/p>\n

You’re using the touch screen to knock balls into the goal past cardboard standups of defenders. And when I say cardboard standups, I don’t mean that they have lousy defense, it’s literally set up to look like you are playing against cardboard standups. Occasionally, they will be moving from left to right on a slot. And while my description may sound less than\u00a0exhilarating, that’s because my description kind of sucks. Flick Kick Football<\/em>\u00a0is actually a pretty fun game. While it takes a few tries to get the kicking mechanism down, once you do, the action is fairly fast and frenetic. It also helps that the sound is top notch, pumping in stadium crowd noises. Seriously, if soccer was played like this, I might actually watch it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
