BGR<\/a> reports that the next flagship Android phone, codenamed Nexus Prime, will actually be the Galaxy Nexus. The first phone to run Android 4.0 a.k.a. Ice Cream Sandwich is allegedly going to be unveiled at next Tuesday’s Samsung event. Exclusive to Verizon, the Nexus Galaxy will be pure Android, untainted by TouchWIZ much like the Nexus S<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Nexus will also sport a curved glass screen like the S, and the NFC (Near Field Communications) chip will be\u00a0 held over as well, so expect to be able to use Google Wallet. Sadly, the camera is only 1.5\/5.0 MP front\/rear, instead of the awesome 2.0\/8.0 on the Galaxy S II. Realistically, it’s enough megapixels, but it’s sad to see a step back. More impressive is the 32 GB of storage allotted.<\/p>\n
