Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Memory Booster Ad-Free. Which I am not going to put a link to, because it is a task manager, which you don’t need on Android. And haven’t since… 2.1, I think? Type “Android Task Killer” into Google, see what happens — a bunch of results telling you not to use them.
If you really need a memory boost, you are rooted and you have a memory card, try Swapper2. It actually gives you a bit of a boost, using your card as virtual RAM. But don’t get Memory Booster, unless you’re some kind of free app completest.
