Ah, temptation. You see a device just sitting there, say an iPhone, so you decide to swipe it. Except, it turns out that you’re not too technically inclined, and you don’t take the time to erase it. Unbeknownst to you, the iPhone starts saving the photos you’re snapping to the original owner’s PhotoStream.
Oops.
According to the original owner Katy McCaffrey, the camera was stolen while on the Disney Wonder Cruiseline, back in April. Imagine her surprise when she started seeing his photos a few days ago. It appears the gentleman and lady who are in the photos the most work for Disney Cruises, and she has contacted Disney. Can’t wait to see how this plays out.
Let this be a lesson to any would-be tech thieves, hard reset your loot!*

Update: Looks like the malefactor was caught and Katy is getting her iPhone back.
