Feral Interactive announces development of a native Mac OS X version of Deux Ex: Human Revolution. This title marks the third installment of the Deux Ex series of games, released in August for Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In this game, set 25 years before the original Deus Ex, you play the role of Adam Jensen, security chief of one of the game’s most powerful corporations. After the corporation is attacked, Jensen undergoes surgeries and augmentations, giving him new bionic powers, which he must use to seek out those responsible for the attack.
Feral expects to have a mini-website dedicated to the game completed by late October, with the game’s release scheduled for late 2011 or early 2012. Once again, Mac gamers must wait longer than everyone else for a major new game release, but it’s good to see the project is underway.
