SnApp Judgments: Shopper’s Paradise HD

Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?

Today’s free app is Shopper’s Paradise HD by Maribou Inc., which usually runs for $2.99. It’s something of a cross between a mogul game and Sim City, where you throw up shops around a town and try to entice commuters to engage in mass consumption. It’s not a bad looking game, and I kind of like the concept… I just have no idea what the hell I’m doing in it. There’s an explanation in a help screen at the beginning, but ye gods would a tutorial level with some pop ups walking you through have been helpful.
