Every night at 12:15 AM Pacific, Amazon gives away a free paid app through their Amazon app store. As I am usually awake at 12:15 AM Pacific, why not let you know if today’s app is useful, or just more clutter in your app drawer?
Today’s free app is Spectrum Puzzles by MultiPie Ltd (Steven Haley) which usually runs for the somewhat unusual price of $1.60. It’s a puzzle game — and when I say puzzle game, I mean puzzle game. Not like Tetris, more like jigsaw. It gives you an image, breaks it up into a bunch of different pieces, rotates them, then makes you put them back together. There are a variety of difficulty levels, involving either the number of pieces or how they react when you put them near the right spot. And if you get bored with the photos provided, you can use images off of your phone. Not super-intense, but a fun little game, well worth the price of free.
